How Liverpool will Line up with “Magnificent” 221-Goal Star
It will not come as a surprise if the Reds offload strikers like Mario Balotelli and Christian Benteke in the summer transfer window.The Reds need a proven quality goalscorer for next season and someone like Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain perfectly fits the bill.
Lately, Mirror reported that the Argentine international wants to play under the management of Klopp at Anfield even though the Reds have failed to qualify for Europe.
If the reports are true then the Merseysiders must splash the cash and secure the signing of the former Los Blancos superstar in no time.
Higuain is one of the best goalscorers in world football at the moment. The “magnificent” (Goal) striker scored 36 goals in 35 league games last season, only four fewer than European Golden Shoe winner Luis Suarez. Over all, the 28-year-old forward has netted 221 goals club goals in his career (Transfermarkt).
If Liverpool do sign Higuain, there is no doubt that he will start as the lone striker upfront ahead of Sturridge.
